SEALED TO THE LORD

My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior.

Finally, the greatest thing for Christians is the fact that Jesus is the atoning sacrifice for our sins and guilt. The Lord and helper of the weak; the comforter and one who walks beside us. He has written our names in the book of heaven with his own blood, and no one can erase them. He has stamped his seal on us in baptism: Jesus’ own. He encourages us to believe in his promises even in the difficult battles of life. He comes to us in a secret way and we are in him when we kneel at the communion table and receive his body and blood in bread and wine.
