WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS
Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
John 1:16-17
Among believers in Jesus there are citizens of two kingdoms. Some live in the kingdom of law and fill heaven with their works. They are wage laborers in the vineyard, whose earnings are calculated based on hours and results. The work is hard; the heat of the world is scorching. If the days were even a little longer, they would get exhausted in the fields. Others live in the kingdom of grace. They are volunteers in the vineyard; the work is a joy to them and the owner is responsible for the results. They are in the field on good days and bad, the result does not affect the salary. Their hearts are filled with gratitude, for it is a gift to be able to serve in the abundant fields of grace of the loving owner.
