WHO ARE YOU TO SAY?
And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
Romans 11:6
It is natural to think that some feature in me would make God qualify me for heaven. You may think that you do not have it, and you are quite right. I do not have it either. Perhaps there is some obstacle in your mind that makes you not dare to think that you are a child of God. Each of us has such hurdles if we honestly examine our hearts. So turn your eyes from your heart and your obstacles and hear this word of God: your choosing is based on grace, not on you. Otherwise, grace would not be grace. If God says that he has chosen you, then who are you to say that you are not worthy for God?
